Everyone Online Is Raving About Cyklar, But Is It Worth The Hype? I tried it

If there’s one trend that will truly blow me away in 2025, it’s everyday luxury. I am completely influenced to slowly increase the important things that I use every day to romanticize my life. Little things like nightly hand cream before bed, laundry detergent with a scent I love, and candles that make my room feel like a luxury hotel lobby are no longer negotiable. Since I started my journey to elevate my routine into something I actually looked forward to, one brand kept popping up. From influencers raving about body wash in empty videos to people calling body lotion the best they’ve ever smelled, the name on everyone’s lips in the body care world is Cyklar.

After months of adding and removing products from my cart, I finally got my hands on Cyklar’s best-selling products and put them to the test to see if they’re really worth stretching your beauty budget. So if you’re on the fence about whether their products deserve a spot on your holiday wish list, this is for you. Here’s my honest Cyklar review, after testing the product myself.

What is a Bicycle?

Founded by influencer Claudia Sulewski, Cyklar describes itself as “multi-sensory skin care from head to toe.” Their products—from body oils and lotions to deodorants and fragrances—are known for their luxurious feel, intense hydration, and truly addictive scents. At $35, Cyklar body wash is definitely not as cheap as my old $10 Method option. But compared to internet favorites like L’Occitane bath oil ($48) or Nécessaire body wash ($42), this oil is on the lower end of the bougie body care price range.

It’s not just the aroma that has earned Cyklar a loyal following. With key ingredients like fatty acid water to boost the skin barrier, multi-complex oil to nourish, glycerin to lock in moisture, banana flower extract to hydrate and smooth, and niacinamide to soften texture and restore moisture, these products are packed with ingredients that really make a real difference. As someone who has historically chosen my body care routine based solely on scent—not a science-backed ingredient list—finding a brand you don’t have to compromise on is a breakthrough.

Bike Review: My Experience

I must admit, I went into this experiment expecting to be a little disappointed by Cyklar. Not because I think the products are bad, but because after testing countless viral TikTok products, only a small percentage actually live up to those expectations. Additionally, how much better is a body wash, lotion, or oil compared to the products sold at the drugstore? Don’t they all do the same thing? WRONG. Although I was skeptical at first, I can confidently say that I am now a complete Cyklar convert. I really want every product in every scent. And yes, I’m annoyed that there’s no going back to getting the cheapest body products at Target after seeing the other side. Here are my thoughts on each product I tried:

Sensory Body Wash

If there was one product that I was both excited and skeptical about trying, it was body wash. I really can’t imagine how life-changing something can be if you throw it away less than a minute after using it. But sure enough, here I am, singing its praises from the rooftops.

This bath soap has a unique and hydrating texture. It applies almost like a silky gel, and while you can produce a little lather. It doesn’t lather too much, and doesn’t leave skin feeling dry and flaky, like most other body cleansers. What impressed me most about this product was how long the scent lasted after use. It filled my entire bathroom and stayed on my skin longer than I expected. Bergamot Bond is a bright, woody citrus that feels perfect for a fresh, clean bath scent.

Nutrient Rich Body Cream

One of the biggest drawbacks of using daily body cream is the sticky feeling that makes you feel like you can’t touch anything for hours. But this one just melts on my skin. It’s rich, luxurious, and the perfect moisture level for the dry winter months. Santal Suci is also my favorite scent. This is a warm, amber woody fragrance without the sharp, almost vinegary note that some santal fragrances have. This is one of those products that I love so much that I try to use the smallest amount so I can enjoy the bottle for as long as possible.

Vitamin C Body Oil

In winter, body oils are a staple of mine, and I am totally obsessed with this one. Vanilla Verve is a delicious spicy vanilla fragrance that isn’t too sweet, which I really appreciate. I like to mix a few pumps with body cream for hydration that lasts all day. I can even still smell it myself after a 12 hour day of travel. And if that’s not a real test, I don’t know what is.

Perfume Oil

I’m completely obsessed with perfume, but my experience with perfume oils is very limited. I usually prefer something I can spray on my clothes and hair. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how powerful this oil’s projection was for something so close to the skin.

If you’re not familiar with perfume scents, don’t be intimidated by the “musk” in the name—it’s not musty at all. This is an amber scent, alluring with better-than-your-skin vibes. Combined with rose, jasmine, tonka bean, and orris, it creates a sexy scent that I love wearing alone or layered to add depth to my other fragrances. I also love how small the beautiful glass bottle is. It’s perfect to throw in your purse for touches throughout the day.
