I Just Walked 10 Miles a Day in Europe—Here Are the Sneakers I Wore the Whole Trip
If there’s one thing about me, it’s that I love a pair of sneakers. One of my friends once joked that if you opened my closet, you’d just see a pile of white sneakers that all looked identical to the naked eye (to which I replied, “but they’re all just very different!”). Do I have a lot of sneakers that most women might find embarrassing? Sure, but we all have our vices, and I could have a lot worse than a fascination with good sneakers… right?
If I had to look within and examine myself, I might say that my love of sneakers stems from my deeper love of walking. If my destination is less than two miles away, I walk. The only thing that can stop me and my feet from flying through the streets is a sub-zero winter day in Chicago, but even that is rare. (You can catch me in snow boots and earmuffs stomping around town in January). I love putting on headphones, going for walks, and sightseeing, so it makes sense that my ideal vacation involves days exploring the city I’m in on foot.
I recently took a last-minute trip to Spain, including four days in Barcelona—and then, a lot of walking. Every day, we woke up and went exploring around 9am and didn’t return until around midnight, which equated to walking about 10 miles each day. From Park Güell to Barcleoneta, we did everything we could in four days, and my feet were blister-free and completely intact. Magic? No—just a really nice pair of sneakers.
Eagle Shoes
Somehow, Gola sneakers fell under my radar for some time, even though they were affordable and fit my style. I happened to pick up my first pair of shoes right before the trip, and my average expectations were dashed as soon as I tried them on for the first time. Even though it’s sleek and minimalist, the support and cushioned sole are so comfortable, I’d rather wear my geriatric-looking running shoes. After one trip wearing them, I made the bold decision that they would be the only sneakers I brought for my upcoming trip abroad.
Even though I brought a dressier arsenal of shoes for my trip, considering how much walking I do, I end up reaching for my Golas every day to make sure I don’t have a wardrobe crisis. Not only are they beautiful and versatile enough to pair with my perfectly curated vacation wardrobe, but they also left my feet in near-pristine condition after 80,000 steps in four days.
Despite how many sneakers I own and love in my closet, other than my actual running shoes, I don’t think a single shoe can match what I wore on my Golas in Spain. They married seamlessly in comfort and style, and the experience made me a fan for life. Whether you’ve got an upcoming trip coming up or just looking for your next favorite sneaker, trust us: these are the ones.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
